What we do

Airport Transfers We Provide

Al Safa Taxi provides private airport transfers from Jeddah, Madinah and Taif airports. Depending on where you land, you can arrange a direct transfer to a hotel, or on to Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah or Taif.

Every transfer is private: one vehicle and one driver for your group, sized to your passengers and bags. You send the flight details, we confirm the vehicle and the price before you travel, and the driver meets you at a point agreed in advance.

Most visitors need only the airport leg. Others book the next journey at the same time, for example Jeddah Airport to Makkah and then Makkah to Madinah a few days later, so the whole trip is arranged by one team.

  • Three airports: JED, MED and TIF
  • Four cities: Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and Taif
  • Hotel, city or onward transfers from each airport
  • Vehicles for individuals, families and groups

Jeddah Airport

King Abdulaziz International Airport

Jeddah Airport is the main arrival point for many travellers heading to Jeddah and Makkah, including Umrah passengers. Makkah has no commercial airport, so most Makkah-bound pilgrims land here and continue by road.

Madinah Airport

Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport

Serves visitors arriving in the Prophet's City, with private transfers to hotels around Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and onward journeys to Makkah and Jeddah. Ziyarat can be added on the day you land.

Umrah travel

Airport Transfers for Umrah Travelers

Which airport you use depends on your itinerary, not only on where Umrah begins. Some travellers land in Jeddah and go straight to Makkah. Others start in Madinah and travel on afterwards.

We keep to the transport side: the right vehicle for your group and bags, and timing that works with your flight. For rituals and rules, follow your tour operator or scholar.

Traveling With Family or a Group?

The right vehicle depends on the people and the journey together: how many of you, how many bags, whether there are children or older relatives, how long the road is, and where you go next.

A short hop from the airport to a hotel is easy in almost any car. A long road to Makkah or Madinah is where space and comfort matter. Groups too large for one vehicle can be planned as two or more cars that leave together.

  • White Toyota Camry sedan with black alloy wheels, seen from the front three-quarter angle

    Executive Sedan

One to three people with light luggage, or a short onward trip.

  • Black GMC Yukon XL full-size SUV seen from the front three-quarter angle

    Premium SUV

Families with several bags, or older passengers who want more room.

  • Black Hyundai Staria minivan seen from the front three-quarter angle

    Luxury Van

Large families and groups, or anyone carrying a lot of luggage.

  • VIP Chauffeur Car

Guests who want a more formal arrival, including business visitors.

  • Seats and luggage space for each vehicle are on the fleet page.

Traveling With Luggage?

Choose the vehicle by luggage as well as passengers. A vehicle that fits six passengers may not be the best choice for six passengers carrying large suitcases.

Count every piece, including hand luggage, and think about the way home: pilgrims often carry gifts, dates and Zamzam containers on the return trip.

Going Straight to Your Hotel?

Send the exact hotel name and the area or city. Around the Haram in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, access for cars can be restricted, so the driver confirms the practical drop-off point before you arrive and a short walk may be needed.

FAQ

Airport Transfer FAQs

Which airports does Al Safa Taxi serve?

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah (JED), Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah (MED) and Taif International Airport (TIF). Each has its own page with arrival and departure details.

Can I book a private transfer from Jeddah Airport to Makkah?

Yes. Makkah has no commercial airport, so most Makkah-bound travellers land at JED and continue by road. Send your flight number and Makkah hotel and we confirm the vehicle and price. See Jeddah Airport to Makkah.

Can I travel from Madinah Airport directly to Makkah?

Yes, in one journey. The road is long, so we size the vehicle for your bags and plan stops with you. The route page for Madinah Airport to Makkah explains what to expect.

Do you provide transfers from Taif Airport?

Yes, to hotels in Taif and onward to Makkah or Jeddah. Taif has fewer flights than the other two airports, so tell us early if your flight time changes. Details are on the Taif Airport page.

What information do you need for an airport booking?

The airport, flight number, arrival date and time, where you are going, how many people are travelling and how many bags. Add a child seat or mobility needs if they apply. The checklist above lists everything in one place.

Can families book a larger vehicle?

Yes. Tell us how many people and bags you have and we recommend a vehicle from the fleet. Groups too large for one vehicle can be planned as two or more cars that leave together.

Can you accommodate large luggage?

Usually, if we know the numbers beforehand. Count every piece, including hand luggage and anything you expect to buy, because bags often decide the vehicle before passengers do.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Send your flight number when you book and contact us if the airline changes the time. We use the updated information to coordinate the pickup. Questions about waiting time are best settled by message before you fly.

Where will I meet the driver?

We agree the meeting point with you before you travel, because it depends on the airport and the arrangements for your booking. After you collect your bags, message us and the driver meets you there.

Can I go directly from the airport to my hotel?

Yes. Send the exact hotel name and the area. Around the Haram in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, access can be restricted, so we confirm the closest practical drop-off for your hotel. See hotel transfers.

Can I arrange an onward transfer to another city?

Yes, between Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and Taif, which is our service area. You can book the airport leg and the next leg together, or add the second one later from your hotel. See intercity transfers.
