Which Vehicle for Which Journey
Start from the passengers and the bags, then think about the length of the trip. For a short city ride, a sedan is enough for two or three people. On a long road such as Makkah to Madinah, about five hours, extra seat room and boot space matter more, so many families choose the SUV even for four.
Pilgrims usually carry more on the way home than on the way in, with gifts and Zamzam water, so count the bags for the return before you decide. A group of six to eight with luggage needs the van. A group bigger than eight needs more than one vehicle, and we plan the pickups to happen together, for example at Jeddah Airport. For executives and VIP guests, see business transportation.

Reading seat and bag figures honestly
The numbers on the fleet page are guides. A sedan that seats three adults has room for two cases, not for three adults and four large suitcases. A van that seats eight leaves little space for luggage if all eight seats are used. When you are near a limit, choose the next size up, or tell us the real number of bags and we will say whether a vehicle suits you.
Soft bags pack more easily than hard cases, and prams and walkers take space that is easy to forget.
Which vehicle for which kind of trip
For a couple flying to Makkah with two cases, the Executive Sedan is usually enough. For a family of four or five with several bags, the Premium SUV is the safer choice. For a group of six to eight, the Luxury Van keeps everyone together. For a guest who needs a formal arrival, the VIP Chauffeur Car is the right fit. If your group is larger than eight, we can plan more than one vehicle and arrange them to leave together.
Child seats and special equipment
If you need a child seat, tell us the age or weight of the child when you book. We will tell you what we can arrange. Prams, walkers and wheelchairs take space, so mention them too. If anyone in your group has difficulty getting in and out of a car, say so, and we will advise on which vehicle is easiest to board.
Availability in busy seasons
Vehicle availability tightens in Ramadan, around Hajj and in school holidays. The larger vehicles are the first to go, so if your group needs a van, book as early as you can. Flexible dates help us plan, and we can sometimes offer a different vehicle on an adjacent day if the preferred one is taken.
Matching vehicles to the people in them
Picture the group before you choose. Two adults and a baby need a car seat and room for a pram. Three generations of one family need steps that are easy to climb and seats that are easy to leave. A team of colleagues needs room for laptops and a quiet cabin. A group of friends needs space for six suitcases. Starting from the people, not the numbers, usually leads to a better choice.

The VIP Chauffeur Car is not defined by size. It is for guests who value a formal arrival, an attentive driver and a quiet cabin, usually for business or for special occasions. If you are not sure that it is right, describe the occasion and we will say whether the Executive Sedan would serve you equally well.
