What we do

Private Taxi & Transfers Across Western Saudi Arabia

Al Safa Taxi provides private transportation across Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and Taif. You can arrange an airport pickup, a hotel transfer, Umrah transportation, a Ziyarat trip, a city ride, a journey between the cities, or a private chauffeur for the day.

Every ride is private: one vehicle and one driver for your group, chosen by passengers and luggage. It suits individuals, families and groups, travellers with heavy bags, pilgrims and business visitors.

You send your trip details, we confirm the vehicle and the price before you travel, and your driver meets you at an agreed point. Roads near the Haram in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah can be restricted, so we plan the drop-off with you in advance.

Umrah

Private Umrah Transportation in Makkah & Madinah

An Umrah trip is usually several journeys, not one. We arrange each of them, and you can book them together or one at a time as your plans settle: the airport transfer, hotel moves, the road between Makkah and Madinah, Ziyarat, a stop at a miqat when you ask for it, and the return to the airport.

We keep to the transport side. For rituals and rules, follow your tour operator or scholar.

  6. Airport
  • The arrival. Most Umrah travellers land at Jeddah, then drive to Makkah. Send your flight number and Makkah hotel and we plan the pickup around your actual arrival.
  • The road to Madinah. A long drive, so we size the vehicle for your bags and plan stops for prayer and rest, with a miqat stop when you ask for it.
  • Ziyarat in between. Add it on a day you are already travelling, or give it a morning of its own in Makkah or Madinah.
  • The way home. Bags are heavier on the return, so tell us the count when you book the drive to the airport.
Ziyarat

Private Ziyarat Tours in Makkah & Madinah

A private vehicle and a driver, a route you choose, and a driver who waits while you visit. Some places involve climbing, so tell us who is travelling and we plan what is realistic.

Ziyarat can be added to an airport transfer or a hotel move, or booked for a morning of its own. We provide the transport; the page on Ziyarat explains each place, how much walking it involves and how to plan a morning in each city.

Practical Notes for Your Trip

Small details that decide whether a journey in this region is calm or stressful.

Hotels near the holy mosques

Streets around the Haram in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah can be restricted, and some are pedestrian only. A car may stop a short walk from your hotel entrance. Send the exact hotel name before you travel and we confirm the closest practical drop-off, so you are not looking for it with your bags.

Hotel transfers

Travelling with parents or children

A long flight, a slow immigration queue and a late check-in are hard on older relatives and young children. Tell us who is travelling, and whether anyone needs help with steps or a child seat, and we plan the vehicle and the meeting point around them.

Choose a vehicle

Luggage decides the vehicle

Pilgrims often leave with more than they arrived with: gifts, dates and Zamzam containers. Count every bag, including hand luggage, because a vehicle that seats six people may not carry six people's suitcases.

Airport transfers

The long roads between the cities

Makkah to Madinah is about 450 km, and a stop for prayer, food or rest is part of the journey, not a delay. Say at booking where you would like to stop and we build it into the plan, along with a miqat stop if you want one.

Business & Private Chauffeur Travel

A dedicated driver for airport pickups, meetings and events, several stops in one day, or hours and days at a time. Tell us the schedule, the stops and the times that matter, and we plan the day around it, with the driver waiting between meetings so you are not booking a new ride each time. See business transportation for companies and delegations.

FAQ

Taxi Service FAQs

Which cities do you serve?

Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and Taif, together with the roads between them. We do not cover other Saudi cities such as Riyadh or Dammam.

Which airports do you serve?

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah (JED), Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah (MED) and Taif International Airport (TIF). Each has its own page with arrival and departure details.

Is there an airport in Makkah?

No. Makkah has no commercial passenger airport, so most travellers to Makkah land at Jeddah and continue by road, a drive of roughly 100 km from the airport.

Can I book Jeddah Airport to Makkah?

Yes. We arrange private transfers from Jeddah Airport to hotels in Makkah. Send your flight number, passenger count and hotel name, and we confirm the vehicle and price. See Jeddah Airport to Makkah.

Do you provide Umrah transportation?

Yes. We arrange the airport transfer, hotel moves, the road between Makkah and Madinah and Ziyarat trips for individuals, families and groups. If you want a stop at a miqat on the way, say so when you book. See Umrah transportation.

Do you offer Ziyarat tours?

Yes. We provide private transport for Ziyarat in Makkah and Madinah: you choose the places and the driver waits while you visit. We provide the transport, not religious guidance. See Ziyarat tours.

Can families and groups book?

Yes. Tell us how many people and how many bags, and we suggest a vehicle from the fleet. Groups too large for one vehicle can be planned as two or more cars that leave together.

Which vehicles are available?

An Executive Sedan, a Premium SUV, a Luxury Van and a VIP Chauffeur Car. The exact model depends on the date and availability, and we confirm it before you travel.

Can I book Makkah to Madinah?

Yes, in either direction. The road is about 450 km and takes roughly four and a half to five hours before stops, so we plan breaks with you. See Makkah to Madinah and Madinah to Makkah.

How does airport pickup work?

You send your flight number, arrival time, passenger count and destination. We plan the pickup from those details and agree the meeting point with you in advance. If your flight time changes, message us and we adjust the pickup.

How do I book through WhatsApp?

Message us with your pickup, destination, date, passengers and luggage, plus a flight number if you are travelling through an airport. We reply with a vehicle and price. The quote form above fills the message in for you.

How is the price calculated?

By the route, the vehicle and the number of passengers, and for chauffeur or Ziyarat days by the time involved. We confirm the price before you travel, so there is nothing to negotiate at the kerb.
