A chauffeur booking means one driver and one vehicle for your whole schedule, instead of arranging a new ride for every journey. The driver waits between stops and you do not have to find a ride back. It suits visits with several stops, families who want continuity, and anyone who would rather not plan transport day by day.
Chauffeur or city taxi
A city taxi takes you from A to B. A chauffeur stays with you. If you have more than two stops, if the driver will need to wait for an hour or more, or if you want the same driver over several days, a chauffeur is usually simpler and often more practical than rebooking.
Examples of how people use it

By the hour, by the day, for several days
Book for a few hours, a full day or several days. Tell us the city, the dates, the start time and roughly how many hours you want each day. For a multi-day booking, agree the start time of each day, and we will plan around prayer times and rest.
Waiting time and changes
Waiting time between stops is part of the booking, so tell us how long you expect at each place. Plans change: if a visit runs long, tell the driver and we will adjust. If you need to extend, message us as early as you can.

Planning a chauffeur day around prayer
A chauffeur day is built around fixed points, and for most of our passengers those are the five prayers. Decide in advance where you want to pray at each time, and tell the driver so that he is parked near the mosque rather than across town. Prayer halls can be crowded, particularly at Dhuhr and Maghrib in busy seasons, so a few minutes' buffer after the iqamah makes the next move easier.
If you plan to pray at the Haram or the Prophet's Mosque, expect the driver to wait at a distance and call you when he is in position. The more precisely you describe the plan, the less time is spent finding each other.
What the chauffeur does not do
A chauffeur drives, waits and helps with bags. They are not a guide to the sites, and they cannot enter restricted areas for you. If you want a guided tour with historical commentary, ask us whether a Ziyarat tour suits you. If you need a driver for meetings and logistics, business transportation may be a better match.
A plan for a multi-city day
Some guests want a single driver to take them from Jeddah to Makkah, to wait during Umrah and to bring them back that night. That is possible, but it is a long day and the hours in the middle depend on how long the rituals take. Agree a flexible window in advance and keep the driver informed about progress, so that the vehicle is where you expect it when you come out.
Several days with the same driver
Guests staying for several days often prefer to keep the same driver. Over time he learns where you are staying, how you like to travel and which entrances work best at each place. If you want that continuity, say so when you book and we will plan it where we can. Where a different driver is needed for a particular day, we will tell you in advance.
A chauffeur for a family reunion or a wedding weekend
Family occasions create the kind of day where nobody wants to drive: relatives arriving at different hours, a hall to find, elderly guests to collect and a late return. A chauffeur lets one person stay with the vehicle and the plan while everyone else enjoys the event. Write down the pickups in order, with the address and the person to call at each, and share the list with the driver the evening before.
If several relatives need rides at once, tell us how many cars you expect to need. We would rather plan two vehicles from the start than stretch one across the whole afternoon.
