Everyone together
Parents, grandparents and children in one cabin, so the family arrives at the same time and nobody is in a second car.
A private Hyundai Staria minivan with a driver, from your address in Jeddah to Makkah, for families and groups who want space and room for their bags.

Yes. You can request a Hyundai Staria with a private driver for the road from Jeddah to Makkah, roughly 80 km and usually about an hour in normal traffic.
Tell us the group size and luggage, and we confirm the Staria and the price for your date.
The Staria is a modern minivan, a people carrier rather than a car. That shape is the whole point: the cabin is tall and long, so passengers sit upright in separate seats instead of squeezing three across a back bench, and the luggage has its own space behind them.
We use it for families and groups who want to travel together in one vehicle. It is a practical vehicle for people and bags, not a limousine, and we describe it that way so that you know what to expect.
Parents, grandparents and children in one cabin, so the family arrives at the same time and nobody is in a second car.
Suitcases and shopping go in the back of the vehicle, which matters if you are moving from a Jeddah hotel to Makkah for the rest of the stay.
A minivan is generally easier for older passengers to step into than a low sedan. Tell us if anyone needs help, and we will plan for it.
A simple comparison to help you choose. Both are private, with a driver.
| Feature | Hyundai Staria | Sedan |
|---|---|---|
| Passenger suitability | Families and groups | Individuals, couples, small families |
| Luggage | More practical for a group's suitcases | More limited boot space |
| Journey type | Group moves, family trips, hotel changes | Light-luggage rides for two or three |
If you are two or three people with light bags, a sedan is usually enough and we will tell you so.
The road between the two cities is short but busy, especially on Thursday evenings, Fridays and in Ramadan and the Hajj season. The part that changes most is the start: Jeddah is long, and a pickup in the north reaches the highway at a different time from one in the south. Send a map pin.
At the other end, roads near the Masjid al-Haram are controlled and can be crowded around prayers. A minivan cannot always stop directly at a hotel door, so send the hotel name and we confirm the practical drop-off point.
The Staria is one of the models in our van class, which our fleet page lists for up to eight passengers and about six bags. We confirm the vehicle and its seating for your date before you travel. See the fleet.
On an hour's drive, comfort over distance is not the issue. What the Staria is good at here is moving a family and its luggage in one go: from a Jeddah hotel at the end of a stay to a Makkah hotel for the next part of the trip, or from a relative's home to the Haram and back.
It is also useful when the group includes someone who finds a low car hard to get into. Many older passengers find a minivan easier, and loading a folded wheelchair or a pushchair is simpler when there is a proper luggage area behind the seats.
If your group is small and your bags are light, choose a sedan instead. The Staria is the right vehicle when the group or the luggage needs it, not by default.
Checking out of Jeddah and checking in to Makkah, with the whole family's luggage in one vehicle.
Relatives travelling together from a Jeddah home for Umrah, with an agreed time for the drive back.
Collecting guests from their Jeddah hotel and taking them to Makkah as a group.
Send the Jeddah pickup, your Makkah hotel, the date and time, and the number of passengers and bags. We confirm the Staria and the price before you travel.
Families making a day trip to Makkah from Jeddah often want the same vehicle for the return. Agree the return time before you leave, ideally after a prayer when you know you will be ready, and give yourselves a margin: leaving the area around the Haram at the end of a prayer is slow for everyone.
If your plans may run late, say so. It is easier to arrange a later return in advance than to change it on the evening itself.
For space. A family or group fits in one vehicle with the luggage behind, instead of splitting into two cars or holding bags on their laps.
Generally yes, for a family's suitcases. Send the exact number of bags and any large items, and we will confirm the fit for your group.
Yes. Every booking is private, with a driver, from your pickup point to your destination.
Any of our routes, including Jeddah Airport to Makkah and the long road between Makkah and Madinah. The Staria is confirmed by date and availability.
We confirm the vehicle before you travel. If a Staria is not available, we will tell you and suggest a comparable vehicle before anything is agreed.
Yes. Tell us the time you expect to be ready in Makkah, and we will plan the return. Leave a margin, because roads near the Haram are busy after prayers.
Many older passengers find a minivan easier to get into than a low car. Tell us about any mobility needs, and we will plan the pickup and drop-off points accordingly.
Yes. Tell us when you book so we can make sure there is room for it with the luggage.
The Staria is a popular choice for families, and demand rises in Ramadan, around Hajj and during school holidays. If you have dates in those periods, send your request early, so that we can confirm a Staria rather than suggest an alternative.
If a Staria is not available for your date, we will tell you before anything is agreed, and suggest a comparable vehicle for your group and luggage. You will always know which vehicle is coming before you travel.
When you send your request, include the group size and the number of bags even if you have asked for a Staria by name. It lets us check that the vehicle suits the trip, and it means there are no surprises at the pickup.
Distances and journey times are approximate and can vary with traffic, time of day, exact pickup and drop-off locations and travel conditions.
